Where possible, we will use the simplest and least invasive option however if required it’s good to know you’ll have access to some of the most advanced reproductive technology in the world.

At Sims we have a holistic approach to treatment. Once we understand what is affecting your fertility, we can discuss all the options based on your personal circumstances and work with you to put together a tailored treatment plan.

Our treatments include:

Ovulation induction: Using medication to stimulate your hormones and encourage ovulation.

IUI or Artificial insemination: The procedure involves inserting prepared sperm (from a partner or donor) into the uterus close to the time of ovulation.

IVF: After a course of ovarian stimulation, eggs are collected from the ovaries and fertilised with sperm in the laboratory. One of the resulting embryos is transferred back into the uterus.

ICSI: A more sophisticated form of IVF, where the scientist injects a single sperm into the egg to assist fertilisation.

IMSI: Intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection is a variation of ICSI that uses a higher-powered microscope to select sperm.

Assisted hatching: A specialised  scientific technique where a laser is used to thin the outer layer of the embryo to assist implantation.

Preimplantation Genetic Screening: An advanced scientific technique that can be used to screen embryos for a chromosome abnormality.

Embryoscope: An innovative time-lapse technology used to careful monitor and analyse the development of embryos.

Fertility preservation: Our fertility preservation service is designed to protect and preserve your fertility for the future, including egg and sperm freezing.

Donor program: A supportive donor program to assist people needing donor sperm or donor eggs to have a baby. We also now offer double donation.

Access Fertility: Take the uncertainty out of IVF with the Access Fertility money-back guarantee.

If you have been trying to conceive for 12 months (6 months if you are over 35 years of age) we recommend you book an appointment with a fertility specialist.

The first step is to undergo some routine tests to help identify any fertility issues.
