After completing medical school, Dr. Farhat Khan received training in General Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Pakistan before moving to the United Kingdom for further specialist training. He obtained Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 1996, followed by Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI) and Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS Ed).
Dr. Farhat has held clinical roles in Pakistan, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Fiji. Since 2006, he has focused his practice on Reproductive Medicine and has worked in several fertility clinics in Ireland and the UK.
