IVF Funding Announcement
Sims IVF fully supports the introduction of a publicly funded IVF system in Ireland, and we welcome the announcement from Government this week in relation to the allocation of funding for IVF treatment in Budget 2023.
We believe that public funding is essential to ensure that everyone who needs help starting a family can access treatment and that financial means should not be a barrier for any patient.
The Government have indicated that funding will be available from September 2023, and we eagerly await further information and specific details about the rollout of the system.
