Dr Sarah Pace
Sarah completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Cell Biology, before moving on to undertake a PhD at Newcastle Fertility Centre with a focus on age related infertility. Towards the end of the PhD, she gained a trainee Embryology position at Leeds General Infirmary, under the guidance of some of the country’s leading Embryologists and Consultants. Here she gained extensive training, and experience in all areas of embryology.
Over the following years Sarah gained a greater level of both practical and managerial experience, allowing a high level of competence and knowledge, in other UK clinics before moving to Ireland in 2014 to become the Laboratory Manager at a newly forming fertility clinic in Dublin. This move allowed Sarah to be instrumental in the setup and establishment of the Clinic, Laboratory and Quality systems, creating an environment for excellent working practices and success rates.
Sarah joined Sims IVF in September 2015 as the Deputy Laboratory Manager and subsequently the Laboratory Manager shortly after. During her time in Sims, Sarah has been crucial in setting up programmes of work within the lab, including the establishment of the PGS programme. Her experience in quality and training has been invaluable to the recruitment and development of new staff, and the development of staff skills within the unit.
Sarah is extremely enthusiastic about providing a high level of care to all patients and loves hearing and sharing our success stories across our team.
