Steve McGettigan - Chief Executive OfficerSteve joined the team at Sims as General Manager in March 09 having served as a non executive Director for the past ten years He has a Masters Degree in Management from Trinity College Dublin and brings with him a wealth of experience gained at senior management level in several different organisations. Steve has responsibility for all the non medical functions operating within the clinic. |

Graham Coull - Laboratory DirectorGraham graduated with joint honours in genetics and immunology from the University of Aberdeen in 1995. He then went on to become a research assistant at the university, studying embryology in ruminant and non-ruminant species. In 1999 Graham moved to Sweden to take up the position as clinical embryologist at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg. There he trained in ICSI and became the main ICSI practitioner for the clinic. In 2001 Graham moved back to the UK and became clinical embryologist at the Esperance Hospital in Eastbourne where he became HFEA ICSI licensed. Graham joined the team at Sims as a senior embryologist in October 2003 and assists in the continued success of the Sims fertility programme. |

Kathryn McAree FCAKathryn McAree is a Chartered Accountant. She began working with the Sims Clinic in July 2006 as the Financial Controller. She brings with her a wealth of financial experience and interpersonal skills having spent the last 10 years working for an International Funds Administration company in the IFSC and more recently an Aircraft Leasing company. She is responsible for the management and organisation of the Finance department and the overall control of all financial aspects of the Company and its related activities. Her role brings her into contact with all areas of the business on a daily basis. Her dept of knowledge and experience are a welcome addition to the already strong Sims Team. |

Gráinne Murray - Director of QualityGráinne took up the post of Quality Manager in May 2007. She had been employed at Sims Clinic on projects and as an administrator since July 2002. Prior to working at Sims, she studied at De Montfort University in Bedford. She is an associate member of C.I.P.D having completed the Certificate in Personnel Practice through the Dublin Institute of Technology. She has a Diploma in Project Management (PMI) through the University of Limerick. In 2010 she graduated with a B.Sc. in Quality from the Institute of Technology in Sligo. Gráinne leads a team of four in managing the compliance and quality function of the clinic in particular licensing and accreditation. She is also responsible for the development and maintenance of the quality management system. |

Ann Bracken - Counselling PsychotherapistPrior to joining SIMS IVF, Ann has had many years experience working within national health settings as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (CBT) and Mindfulness based therapist. Ann is accredited with the Irish Association of Counselling Psychotherapists (IACP) and a member of the British Infertility Counselling Association where she attends the latest fertility counselling CPD training to support her role as Fertility Counsellor within SIMS IVF. In addition, Ann has received her Teacher Training status from Bangor University, Wales in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and is a graduate of Dublin City University and Salford University. Ann is qualified in Mind/Body Programme training specific to fertility support, having trained with Psychologist and Mind/Body Programme pioneer, Dr Alice Domar PhD (Harvard University & Boston IVF). This programme is offered to support SIMS patients with positively managing stress and promoting conception. Ann is also a published author and successful feature writer on emotional and psychological health. Recent articles have been included in the Irish Medical Journal, Easyhealth Magazine, Easyparenting Magazine, The Belfast Telegraph and Irish Examiner health supplement. |  |
Deirdre Gorman - Head of NursingDeirdre graduated in general nursing from UCD and St. Vincents University Hospital in 2001.She worked in SVUH for 18 months before beginning her Midwifery training in the Coombe Womens Hospital. She qualified from the Coombe and UCD in 2005 with a Higher Diploma in Midwifery. Deirdre joined the Sims Clinic in 2006 and commenced a 2 year training program in fertility nursing. She has gained considerable experience in all aspects of the clinic over the past 6 years. Most recently she has worked as a coordinator on the Egg Donation Program. She has been appointed to Head of the Nursing Department in August 2012. |  |
Elaine Lynch - Administrative Supervisor Elaine began working at the Sims Clinic in August 2003 as receptionist/secretary. Coming from a secretarial and banking background she brings with her excellent communication and IT skills. Elaine covers the reception desk and is responsible for answering queries, maintaining the dairy and invoicing patients. Elaine is available to speak to patients and to make appointments by phone. |
